Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! We have lots of news with graduation right around the corner!
Last Week: We had our marble jar party last Friday. Everyone’s costumes were super cute! They earned it and had lots of fun.
Phonics: We are continuing with Book I this week for homework. Keep reading everyday and practice circling special sounds and marking vowels. This is very important.
Numbers: Review number families, practicing one or two families a day. Start making up word problems and have your child give you combinations and answers. Also keep practicing addition, subtraction, time, and money.
Memory Verse of the Week: We are finished but keep practicing. We are also memorizing Psalm 23 for Kindergarten graduation. Do a few verses each day.
Events: May 1st– Graduation money and Baby pictures are DUE!
May 1st– Teddy Bear Picnic (celebrating summer birthdays)
May 5th– Cinco de Mayo party
May 14th– Field trip to Bookoo Bounce
May 15th– Kindergarten Graduation!
Don’t Forget: Make sure to check snack schedule every day. Graduation is coming up. There is lots to do. I have gotten mostly everyone’s t-shirt sizes, if you have not sent money in yet please do so by tomorrow. If you have not sent in graduation money, please send in by this Friday. The fee is $25, this will cover refreshments and decorations for our graduation. I am also asking for you to email me a baby picture of your child for one of the slideshows for graduation. Please send in by this Friday! When I have the DVD information ready, I will send out an order form for that as well. This Friday, we will also be having a Teddy Bear Picnic. Your child may bring a teddy bear with them to school on Friday to join us on the picnic. We will be celebrating summer birthdays. I will send notes home to the parents whose child has a summer birthday.
