Happy Monday! Hope you all had a great weekend! Here is our class news…

Last Week: The kiddos were so cute on Grandparent’s Day. They did well for the performance and I hope you all enjoyed your time afterward. Thank you for all who came, I hope you enjoyed it as well.

 

Phonics: Continue practicing letters we have already don and we are introducing the letter J this week.

 

Numbers: Keep reviewing teen family and start practicing 20 family as well. We will begin the 20 family on Wednesday.

 

 

Memory Verse of the Week: “God is Love.” 1 John 4:8

 

Don’t Forget: Please don’t forget to check your child’s folder each day. I send home important information in the folders and the behavior chart/ homework chart need to be initialed every day. Also, please check the snack schedule each day because we do not want the class to have no snack. Then last but not least, don’t forget to check the show and tell schedule each week. This Wednesday is school pictures. They must wear school uniform and boys must wear their chapel shirts. Also, if you are buying out for the fundraising, money is due no later than October 2nd.

 

Homework:

Monday: Please practice “G” memory verse, review the blend ladders for letters B, L, and M pages 4-7 in the Blend and Work Book. Also, review numbers 1-20 and writing number 1-8.

Tuesday: Please practice “G” memory verse; review the blend ladders on pages 4-7. Review numbers 1-20 and writing 1-8.

Thursday: Please practice “G” memory verse, review blend ladders pages 15-17,19. Also practice the 20 family (21, 22, 23, etc.) making sure they recognize the numbers and can count that many objects, practice writing 1-9, and go over ordinal numbers.

 

Events: September 30th– School Pictures (individual, school uniform- boys wear chapel shirts)

October 2nd– Buy out for the fundraisers are due ($50 for one child or $80 for 2 or more children)

October 5th-16th– World’s Finest Chocolate fundraising (this was fundraising choice 2)

September 21st-25th Parent Newsletter

Happy Monday! This week is Grandparent’s Day and the kids can’t wait to show you all their performance! Here is our class news…

Last Week: We have continued going over our blend ladders. We will be adding new letters to go over each week. This week we will be continuing to practice what we have learned and adding on the blend ladders for F and G.

 

Phonics: We introduced the letter G today. We will introduce the letter F and continue practicing what we have gone over.

 

Numbers: We are moving right along to our teen family. Please go over numbers 1-19 making sure your child recognizes these numbers and can count them.

 

Memory Verse of the Week: “Fear not for I am with thee.” Isaiah 43:5

 

Extra Extra! There will be no chapel on Wednesday because of See you at the Pole.

 

Events: September 23rd– See you at the Pole (parents are welcome to join, it begins at 8:30am)

September 25th– October lunch order forms are due

I hope you all enjoyed this weekend with this beautiful Fall weather. It made me so happy! I hope it continues! Here is our class news…

Hello Parents!! I hope you all enjoyed your 3 day weekend! Here is our class news…

Last Week: Last week we started working on our blend ladders. I will assign blend ladders to for your child to work on each night. Keep blend and word books in your child’s folder that way it has a place when they need to find or use it in school eventually.

 

Phonics: Please continue practicing vowels and blend ladders for L, T, and B. Also begin practicing N and M blend ladders.

 

Numbers: We have started writing our numbers. Please review them with your child. You can use flash cards making sure they recognize their numbers and can show what the amount looks like. Keep practicing writing their numbers as well.

Welcome to a brand new week of school! Here is our class news…

Last Week: Last week we finished introducing our vowels and had our first test. Please continue to practice the vowels, it’s very important for them to know. This week we are starting our consonants. We begin with T and L. We will also begin our blend ladders and I will send blend and word books home this week.

 

Phonics: Please continue practicing vowels. We will be starting letters T and L this week. We are also beginning our blend ladders this week.

 

Numbers: We have started writing our numbers. Please review them with your child. You can use flash cards making sure they recognize their numbers and can show what the amount looks like.

 

 

Memory Verse of the Week: “Children obey your parents in the Lord for this is right.” Ephesians 6:1

 

Events: Lunch order forms were due today!
