August 15th-19th Parent Newsletter

Dear Parents,

Happy Monday! This is our first full week of Kindergarten. Since I have lots of information to share, this will be in letter form. Starting next week it will be more of a bulletin style.

The behavior/homework chart is sent home everyday in the sleeve protector of your child’s form. That must be signed everyday and sent back. It is my form of constant communication with you. Please sign the box at the top for behavior and the box at the bottom for homework.

I have created a homework packet for this week. I will collect them on Friday to check them and let you keep after. It is mostly for a guide so you do not have to create something each night for homework when they need to practice different things. I did write the day of week each sheet should be done on to help as well.

I  have also sent home the snack schedule. Please keep that available for you at home so you know when your day comes up. The day before your turn, I will send home a big pink bag that you can send snack in and it will work as a reminder for you. So always check your child’s schoolbag.

I also wanted to say something about their memory verses. They will be memorizing a scripture verse each week. On Fridays, I have them recite it to me to receive their card. They may keep the cards in a little baggie inside their schoolbag to keep track of them.

If you have any questions, comments, or concerns please do not hesitate to email me at esmith@vcagators.net or send me a note in your child’s folder. Hope I didn’t forget anything! God bless! Have a great week!

Love in Christ,

Erin Smith
