|Last week: We completed one whole week of Kindergarten! They are doing so well! I am looking forward to another week with them.
Phonics: This week we are adding on the vowels “E” and “A”. Our goal is to recognize the capital and lower case “E” as well as the letter “A”. They will also be able to give the short sound that each letter makes.
Numbers: This week we will be introducing and going over numbers 1-7. They will identify each number and know how to count that amount of objects.
Memory Verse: A- “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23

|Don’t Forget: Please don’t forget to check your child’s folder each day. I send home important information in the folders and the behavior chart/ homework chart need to be initialed everyday. Also, please check snack schedule each day to know when it is your day. The pink bag will also be sent home for your day as a reminder. Please have your child color the pictures in the homework packet each day. You can send the packet back on Fridays to check but it will not be graded. It’s mainly to help you out at home during homework time. Uniform violations do begin this week. If there is anything incorrect with your child’s uniform, I will have to send home a violation.
Monday: Do homework packet. Practice A memory verse. Ask what sound the letter “E” makes and ask if they can name a few works that start with the letter “E”. Make sure they know the numbers 1-4.
Tuesday: Do Homework packet. Review letter “E”. Make sure they can identify numbers 1-5. Practice A memory verse.
Thursday: Do homework packet. Review letters “E” and “A”. Make sure they know numbers 1-7.
