November 13th-17th Class News

Last Week: We had our field trip to the Pumpkin Patch! I hope all who came had a fun time. I always love the pumpkin patch. It’s my favorite!

Phonics: We have laid the foundations. We are now reading 3 and 4 letter words as well as sentences. We will be starting long vowel sounds soon.

Numbers: We should now be able to recognize and count 1-59. We will be going over the rest of the families now. We are adding on the 60, 70, and 80 families.

Memory Verse: M- “My son, give me thine heart.” Proverbs 23:26

November 20th-24th– Thanksgiving Holidays (NO SCHOOL)

Don’t Forget: Please don’t forget to check your child’s folder each day. I send home important information in the folders and the behavior chart/ homework chart need to be initialed everyday. Also, please check snack schedule each day to know when it is your day. The pink bag will also be sent home for your day as a reminder. Please have your child color the pictures in the homework packet each day. December lunch orders will be due this week. Thanksgiving party money was due Friday, I have some who have not turned in their money and forms. I will accept tomorrow, but no later than that. The Thanksgiving party will be Friday at 2pm. There is NO SCHOOL next week. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Monday: Do Homework Packet. Practice M memory verse. Review numbers 1-89. (Counting and recognizing) Begin going over the 60, 70, and 80 family. My blend and word book pages 36-37.

Tuesday: Do Homework Packet. Practice M memory verse. Review numbers 1-89. (Counting and recognizing) Continue going over the 60, 70, and 80 families. My blend and word Book pages 37-38.

Thursday: Do Homework Packet. Practice M memory verse. Review numbers 1-89. (Counting and recognizing). My Blend and Word Book pages 38-39.
